This is my sixth walkthrough video, this time showing the recent "Kennerspiel des Jahres" nominee and two-player worker placement game, Targi.

By doing these walkthrough videos, I hope that I can show people how the game looks like, how it plays but also teach most if not all of the rules. Also, if you've never heard of the game, this might be helpful to form an opinion about it.

Thanks for posting this, I always look forward to more of your videos. Walk-throughs have become my favorite style of video reviewing.

After months of reading about the "buzz" surrounding this game and sitting on the fence as to my attraction to it, your video helped me get off the fence. Though it seems very well designed, a game like this is way too dry for me.

Actually if You use the trader, you have to give 3 goods of the same kind to get a gold!

A pleasant walk-through of an enjoyable game. One note: On the English "Trader" card it says that the two or three goods traded in must be identical. I'm not sure whether you missed that, or if the German card has different text. The English card has identical patterns (as opposed to question marks) on the depicted tiles.

I have only been able to play Targi once, but it was a hit with one of my regular gaming partners. I don't feel the "constriction" that some comments complain about. I also think there is a natural balance between blocking and furthering your own plans. I'm eager to play this again.
