Le Rouge et Le Noir is a card game for 2 or 4 players that can be played in 15 minutes. This is a modern, smoother arrangement of a traditional French card game Le Truc from the 16th century.

Your goal is to win two tricks and score as many as points you can. On your turn, you play a card from your hand of three cards with its face up to win, or play face down to call a double (by bluffing, perhaps). To earn more points, it’s the key to make smart decisions on when to call a double, pass, or take!
