Azul

9.0

9.0 There is a certain ease and elegance to the rules, a certain beauty to the components and a surprising depth of gameplay to the game that will tick all the boxes that I think of when thinking about such awards.

Banana Bandits

5.8

6.0 This game isn’t going to impress hard-core gamers who are looking for a grand strategy game, but it will absolutely embellish a night of drinking and gaming with some game-head friends.

Bear Park

7.8

7.3 Нет умного движка пуговиц/времени, как в «Пэчворке», и вдвоём при наличии второй я не вижу смысла в неё играть.

8.9

8.9 Cubeo is a dice game with no element of luck.

Cuckooo!

7.0

7.0 Good. Usually willing to play.

Delve

4.9

5.0 Delve is a perfectly playable game – the design functions as promised and there are actual decisions to be made.
4.0 I cannot recommend Delve, but I do hope that someone tries something similar with tile laying in the future, but produces it better and puts a lot less luck into the mix.

Dice Forge

7.2

6.5 Dice Forge has some lovely art, and thanks to the box being part of the setup does have amazing table presence.

Downforce

8.8

9.0 It’s the sort of game where failure is more likely to prompt a laugh than a grumble, especially since it isn’t over until the last card is played and the last wager revealed.

Dragon Island

6.5

6.0 Fair. Some fun or challenge at least, will play occasionally if in the right mood.

Go Nuts for Donuts!

6.9

9.0 Great introduction to simultaneous action selection/blind bidding..

Hotshots

7.7

8.0 As it stands, Hotshots is a fine gateway to the board game hobby for the uninitiated where even hardened, veteran gamers can find value in repeated plays.

King of the Creepies

6.0

6.0 King of the Creepies does not care about your sword.

Klondike Rush

5.0

5.0 As a straight forward auction game with no training wheels or safety net, this game will appeal to the more cutthroat auctionistas and those who favor more high stakes bidding - maybe try it out at your next poker night? Just remember, you got to know when to hold ‘em and know when to fold ‘em… and fold ‘em… and fold ‘em.

8.0 Very good. Like to play, will probably suggest it, will never turn it down.
7.0 Sure, its Story mode could be easily replicated in Z:BP and isn’t what we hoped for, but if a night of suds, snacks and skull-splitting is your thing, Massive Darkness delivers.

Mistborn: House War

5.0

5.0 Like the noble head of a Great House failing to repress even a slave’s unruly fart, it earns the Lord Ruler’s disfavor in spades.

Montana

7.5

7.5 Good. Usually willing to play.

NMBR9

8.1

9.0 NMBR 9 is the definition of an elegant design, hiding the strategy and complexity in its structure, not in its incredibly accessible ruleset

Near and Far

8.9

9.5 I think it managed to fix everything I didn’t like about Above and Below and synthesize in Islebound (which I will review eventually) into a near-perfect game for me.

Noch Mal

7.2

7.0 Good. Usually willing to play.

Not Alone

7.6

8.3 На мой взгляд, для такой простой и быстрой игры, как Not Alone, реиграбельности хватает выше крыши.
7.0 Not Alone frequently gets chucked in my game bag because it’s always a fun ride of bluffing, double-think, and misunderstood planetary affections.

Samurai Gardener

7.0

7.0 Samurai Gardener is a pretty dexterity game that’s affordable and plays quickly

Seikatsu

7.5

6.7 It is fun with more or less players and if given the opportunity, try it out.

Space Empires: 4X

10.0

10.0 This is the only game of galactic command and conquer I’ll ever need.

9.0 An instant favourite for me.

SpyNet

7.0

Strawberry Ninja

5.0

5.0 Average. No significant appeal, take it or leave it.

Sword Art Online Board Game: Sword of Fellows

8.0

TECHNO BOWL

8.5

8.0 A great football simulation game that expertly makes trade offs of complexity for game flow.

Tesla vs. Edison: War of Currents

6.5

6.0 A solid game that is full of tough decisions and a great theme, but a little too much emphasis on stocks for our tastes.

That's a Question!

6.9

8.0 That’s a Question! is a ridiculous game that explores a fun niche of the party game genre
7.0 That’s A Question! falls into the weird middle ground of possibly being a party game and/or possibly being an entertaining diversion – well, at least for me it does…

The 7th Continent

8.8

10.0 Outstanding. Always want to play, expect this will never change.
6.0 A game of high hopes, but ultimately this game was not for me.

The Gallerist

8.4

8.0 If you like a deep, meaty euro-style game – especially if you enjoy the art world – then this is definitely a title to investigate.

The Princess and the Goblin

5.0

5.0 Average. No significant appeal, take it or leave it.

Thebes

8.0

8.0 Thebes is for the light-medium game fan.

This War of Mine: The Board Game

8.9

8.5 Авторам удалось перенести всю гнетущую атмосферу одноименной компьютерной игры на стол и заставить игроков почувствовать всю тяжесть принятых решений, гнет безысходности, моральные терзания и чувство потери.

Tiny Epic Defenders

6.5

7.0 As far as gameplay changes, I like the overall direction: mitigating the randomness and bending difficulty just a bit towards the Epic Foes.

Tomb of Annihilation Board Game

8.5

9.0 There's tons to love about the latest D&D adventure, from the rollicking jungle action to the inclusion of concepts and style we've yet to see for 5th edition.
8.0 Tomb of Annihilation is a great cooperative dungeon crawl for anyone who enjoys campaign driven games with persistent character progression, but doesn't want to play something that requires much bookkeeping.

Torres

9.0

9.0 Torres really does earn its place as an enduring Kramer & Kiesling classic.

Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition

9.8

10.0 Да, долго, но как масштабно, как насыщенно проходят партии!

Whistle Stop

8.2

9.0 Excellent. Always want to play.

Widower's Wood: An Iron Kingdoms Adventure Board Game

10.0

10.0 The game is very well balanced for however many players you want (personal favorite being 4) because of how it scales per player.

Windup War

7.0

6.5 Fair. Some fun or challenge at least, will play occasionally if in the right mood.

Witches of the Revolution

7.5

7.5 It’s got neat mechanics, a solid theme, and can be egregiously difficult if you’d like to push it to the highest available difficulty level, all of which are nice.

Word on the Street Junior

8.1

8.1 Very good. Like to play, will probably suggest it, will never turn it down.

Yamataï
